Abdirizak Waberi

Abdirizak Waberi (born May 7, 1966 in Somalia) is a Somali- born Swedish politician of the Moderata Collection Party (schw. Moderata samlingspartiet).

In the election for the Swedish Parliament in 2010 , he moved in as a representative of the municipality of Gothenburg . Waberi is a member of Parliament's Defense Committee. He is also the head of various Islamic organizations, so he has been a board member of the Islamic Association in Sweden ( Islamiska förbundet i Sverige , IFiS) since November 2009 .

He is also the headmaster of the controversial Römosseskolan private school in Gothenburg . The school inspectorate there is also accused of receiving lower grades for girls because, on average, they are better students.

Waberi is married and lives in Angered . He has five children.
