Pedro José Blanco
Pedro José Blanco , also Pedro Josef , (* around 1750; † December 23, 1811 in Cuenca ) was a Spanish composer, organist and harpist.
Life
Hardly any biographical clues have come down to us from Blancos life. For some time he worked as organist and harpist in the cathedral chapel in Cuenca. He probably worked in a similar position at the cathedral in Ciudad Rodrigo .
Blancos one-movement concerto for two organs in G major is still sometimes heard in concert today and the composer also intends to perform it with two harps or for organ and harp. Anneke Uittenbosch and Ton Koopman recorded the concert in 1975.
