Pedro José Vera

Pedro José Vera Alcaraz (born February 26, 1984 ) is a Spanish track and road cyclist.

Pedro José Vera was the 2003 Spanish runner-up in the U23 class on the track over the 1000 m distance. The next year he was runner-up in the elite class and in 2005 he finished third. At the national track cycling championship in 2007 he was the Spanish champion in the 1000 m time trial and in the team pursuit he was runner-up. On the road, he won the Circuito Guadiana in 2007 and a stage in the Vuelta a Segovia in 2008. At the end of the 2008 season, Vera drove for the Spanish professional Continental Team Contentpolis-Murcia as a stagiaire , where he drove in 2009 with a regular contract. Until 2014 he was then successful in smaller street races on the Spanish calendar.
