Peker Açıkalın (born November 24, 1963 in Kars ) is a Turkish theater and film actor .

Life

Peker Açıkalın grew up with two siblings in Istanbul district Bakırköy on. His family ran a manufacture in the third generation . However, he decided not to join the family business and aimed for a career as a theater actor.

In 1987 he married Nilüfer Açıkalın, from whom he divorced in 1994.

Career

Açıkalın first appeared in 1982 on the show Kim Bunlar? on the state broadcaster TRT-1 in front of the cameras. In 1995 he achieved his theatrical breakthrough with the television series Çiçek Taksi , in which he worked for four years.

In 2000 he dared to step onto the big screen with Kara Kentin Çocukları .
