Pendulum hammer
The pendulum impact tester is a testing machine for determining the impact strength and impact work on standardized samples and test rods. A pendulum impact tester generally consists of a pendulum hammer that is suspended from a shaft that is as friction-free as possible, a frame for absorbing the released energy and devices as prescribed by the various DIN standards .
The pendulum impact testers are partly equipped with simple drag pointers in order to carry out simple notched bar impact tests. Devices are also available equipped with a microprocessor or a PC for evaluating and managing statistics .
