Perfil

Perfil is a national Argentine weekly newspaper published in Buenos Aires . With an average circulation of 70,739 (2007) it is one of the most important periodicals in the country.

The newspaper was founded as a daily newspaper in 1998, but was discontinued just 84 days later due to unsuccessfulness. In September 2005 it was reissued as a weekly newspaper with a revised concept and has been published every Sunday since then. In 2007 a Saturday edition was introduced.

The newspaper is published by the Editorial Perfil publishing group, which in addition to the Perfil newspaper publishes several television stations (under the Perfil TV subsidiary ), more than 90 magazines - including the most important news magazine in Argentina, Noticias , and the tabloid Caras - and books. With branches in all South American countries and Spain, Perfil is the largest publishing house in the Hispanic world.
