Periklis Pierrakos-Mavromichalis (also Mavromichalis-Pierrakos , Greek Περικλής Πιερράκος Μαυρομιχάλης ; * 1863 ; † 1938 ) was a Greek general , politician and fencer . He was a member of the well-known Mavromichalis family of maniots . He was a general in the Greek Army . He fought in the Turkish-Greek War in 1897 as well as in the Balkan Wars in 1912 and 1931 and in World War I (as a lieutenant colonel). In the Greco-Turkish War from 1919 to 1922 he was appointed lieutenant general. After his military career, he became Minister of the Interior of Greece in 1922. In 1924 he was appointed Minister of Defense. He was then elected to the Greek Senate in 1929.

Perikles Pierrakos-Mavromichalis participated as a fencer in the fencing competitions at the Olympic Summer Games in Athens in 1896 . He entered the foil competition and was second in his preliminary round after a 3-1 win against Henri Delaborde , a 3-0 win against Ioannis Poulos and a 1-3 defeat against Henri Callot . He was automatically third.
