Perilaos (artist)
Perilaos ( Greek Περίλαος ), also Perillos , was an ancient Greek ore caster from Athens . He lived around the middle of the 6th century BC. He became known for building the Sicilian bull for the Sicilian ruler Phalaris of Akragas . In this legendary torture tool, Phalaris is said to have roasted the creator Perilaos as the first victim.
