Periproct
The Periprokt or Periproct derived from the Greek peri = "around about" and proctos = "After", or after field referred to in the Zoology principle, a field in which the located After situated.
In the case of insects , it is the telson , the last (fake) segment of the abdomen . It is also referred to here as the anus segment or as an end ring, as it usually only forms a ring around the anus made of chitin . The epiproct of the insect often bears three small sclerites , which are called laminae anales.
In sea urchins , the epiproct or anal field is formed from several, irregularly arranged limestone plates.
