Personnel services specialist

Certified personnel service specialist is a publicly recognized qualification at master's level , which is awarded after successfully completing industry- related commercial advancement training in accordance with the Vocational Training Act. The nationwide examination takes place on the basis of a special statutory ordinance before the examination board of a Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).

Job description

The framework plan developed by the DIHK , trade unions and experts from educational and industrial companies deals with the following professional areas of activity, among others:

  • Analysis of markets and opportunities
  • Selection and further development of personnel services
  • Personal recruiting
  • The order support and follow-up
  • Corporate governance
  • Monitoring of processes

As a rule, personnel service specialists are employed as branch managers.

Admission requirement

The following is required for admission to the advanced training examination:

  • a final examination in a recognized training occupation in the personnel services industry, for example to become a personnel service clerk , and one year of relevant professional experience or
  • a final examination in another recognized occupation followed by at least two years of professional experience or
  • at least five years of professional experience.

Anyone who demonstrates that they have the necessary knowledge and experience by submitting certificates or in another way can also be admitted.

final exam

The exam consists of a written and an oral part. After successfully completing all parts of the examination, the examining Chamber of Industry and Commerce awards the publicly recognized qualification as certified personnel service specialist .

execution

For the first time, a course for this advanced training was carried out starting in 2012 at the LVQ Business Academy in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The first personnel service specialists were audited by the Essen Chamber of Commerce in 2013.
