Peter Budschun

Peter Budschun (born July 30, 1940 in Königsberg ) is a German SPD politician and police officer.

education and profession

In 1955 Peter Budschun trained as a miner at the General Blumenthal colliery . On April 1, 1958, he became a miner and youth spokesman for Hibernia AG. From 1962 he started a police training at the "Carl Severing" state police school. In 1971 he passed the second specialist examination for police commissioner. In 1994 he became the first police chief inspector and head of the north police station in Castrop-Rauxel.

politics

Peter Budschun has been a member of the SPD since 1959. From 1966 to 1990 he was chairman of the SPD local association Recklinghausen-Süd. From 1975 he was a member of the Recklinghausen City Council and from 1987 chairman of the SPD parliamentary group.

He was a directly elected member of the 12th and 13th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1995 to 2005.
