Peter Doyle

Peter Doyle is an Australian diplomat.

Career

Doyle holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from the University of Queensland .

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Australia, he was initially Assistant Secretary for the European Union and Western Europe. Later he was Deputy Ambassador and Advisor / Head of the Political and Economic Department of the Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur ( Malaysia ) and finally Australian Ambassador to Turkey . From 2014 to 2018 Doyle was the Australian Ambassador to East Timor .
