Peter Grace

Peter Grace is a sound engineer .

Life

Grace began his career in television in the late 1980s. He made his debut on the Australian crime series Police Rescue . He also starred in the 1994 film based on the series. His first major film production was the comedy Piggy Babe in the Big City in 1998 . He subsequently worked on other Australian film and television productions, including The Secret of the Alibrandis , Little Fish and Shame , and the Australian / British / US co-production Knowing - The Future Is Ending Now . In 2017 he won the Oscar for Best Sound for Hacksaw Ridge - The Decision together with Kevin O'Connell , Andy Wright and Robert Mackenzie . He was also nominated for the BAFTA Film Award in the Best Sound category that year, but this award went to Arrival .
