Peter Rudigier

Peter Ludwig Rudigier (born April 16, 1882 in Gaschurn ; † January 7, 1963 there ) was an Austrian politician ( LB ) and farmer. From 1928 to 1932 he was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament .

Peter Rudigier was born the son of the farmer Johann Josef Viktor Rudigier (1830-1894) and Maria Rosina Ganahl (1843-1908) in Gaschurn. He married Maria Katharina Pfeifer (1886–1968), who was also born in Gaschurn, on October 4, 1909, and was the father of ten children who were born between 1910 and 1924.

Rudigier attended the one-class elementary school in Gaschurn and then took over his parents' farm. Between 1915 and 1918 he did his military service as a rifleman on the South Tyrolean front. He was active as a member of the Landbund and was a member of the municipal council of Gaschurn between 1928 and 1938. He was also a member of the Bludenz constituency in the Vorarlberg state parliament from April 2, 1928 to November 21, 1932. He was a member of the school committee, the agricultural committee and the energy committee.
