Peter Salisch (born February 25, 1961 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Salisch's club career began at the Kaiserslautern district club SV Mölschbach. He came to FC Schalke 04 via 1. FC Kaiserslautern , where he was in the professional squad for the first time in the 1978/79 season. Neither in this nor in the following season, however, he was used in the Bundesliga and moved to Rapid Vienna in Austria during the 1979/80 season . There he made his competitive debut in professional football on February 18, 1980. In Austria he then played at IG Bregenz / Dornbirn (merger of SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz and FC Dornbirn in 1913 ) and at Vienna Wien . For the 1982/83 season he returned to Germany and moved to the second division club SV Darmstadt 98 . From 1986 he was still active in amateur football (including SV Heidingsfeld, SC Hassel and Vorwärts 08 Bottrop).
