Peter Sommerauer (* 1966 in Linz ) is an Austrian architect , visual artist and designer . Since 2011 he has been president of the Upper Austrian artists' association MAERZ .

Live and act

Sommerauer completed a diploma course at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz from 1988 to 1994, studied at the Department for Architecture at the University of East London under Pascal Schöning in 1993/1994 and, in addition, in 1995/1996 at the design laboratory in Bremerhaven ( Francois Burkhardt , Alberto Meda , Florian Fischer and Roger Tallon ).

He is a member of the artists' association MAERZ, since 2003 a member of the board and since 2011 its president.
