Alberto Meda (* 1945 in Lenno Tremezzina ) is an Italian industrial designer .

Career

In 1969 he finished his mechanical engineering studies at the Polytechnic in Milan and was employed by Kartell as technical director from 1973 to 1979.

Then Meda went freelance as a designer in Milan and worked for Alessi , Alfa Romeo , Brevetti Gaggia , Ideal Standard, Vitra , Luceplan and Philips , among others . From 1983 to 1987 he was a lecturer in industrial engineering at the Domus Academy in Milan . From 1995 to 1997 he was a member of the board of the Bremerhaven Design Laboratory.

Since 2003 he has lectured and taught at the University of Architecture in Venice (IUAV: Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia).
