Kongtong

The municipality of Kongtong ( Chinese 崆峒区 , Pinyin Kōngtóng Qū ) is a district of the district-free city of Pingliang in the Chinese province of Gansu . It has an area of 1,936 km² and has a population of 480,000 (2004). The seat of the administration is on Xidajie Street (西大街).
