Pingliang ( Chinese 平凉 市 , Pinyin Píngliàng Shì ) is a district-free city in the Chinese province of Gansu . It has an area of 11,325 km² and has 2,103,100 inhabitants (2016). 248,421 people live in the actual urban settlement area of Pingliang (2010 census).
Administrative structure
The district-free city of Pingliang is made up of a district, a district-free city and five districts. These are:
- District Kongtong -崆峒区Kongtong Qū ; 1,936 km², 480,000 inhabitants, seat of government Xidajie西 大街;
- Huating County-Free City - 华亭 市Huátíng Shì ; 1,266 km², 170,000 inhabitants, capital: Donghua community 东华 镇;
- Circle Jingchuan -泾川县Jingchuan Xiàn ; 1,486 km², 330,000 inhabitants, capital: Chengguan municipality 城关 镇;
- County Lingtai -灵台县Lingtai Xiàn ; 2,038 km², 230,000 inhabitants, main town: Zhongtai中 台 镇;
- Chongxin County - 崇信 县Chóngxìn Xiàn ; 850 km², 90,000 inhabitants, main town: Jinping community 锦屏 镇;
- Circle Zhuanglang -庄浪县Zhuanglang Xiàn ; 1,556 km², 420,000 inhabitants, main town: Shuiluo municipality水 洛 镇;
- Jingning County - 静宁 县Jìngníng Xiàn ; 2,193 km², 470,000 inhabitants, main town: Chengguan municipality 城关 镇.
