Baiyin ( Chinese  白银 市 , Pinyin Báiyín ​​Shì ) is a district-free city in the Chinese province of Gansu . Baiyin has a population of around 1.7 million and the administrative area covers around 21,200 km². 362,363 people live in the actual urban settlement area (2010 census).

Administrative structure

The district-free city of Baiyin is composed of two districts and two districts. These are:

  • Baiyin District - 白银 区Báiyín ​​Qū ;
  • Pingchuan District - 平川 区Píngchuān Qū ;
  • Kreis Jingyuan -靖远县Jìngyuǎn Xiàn ;
