Huining

The Huining County ( Chinese  会 宁县 , Pinyin Huìníng Xiàn ) belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Baiyin in the Chinese province of Gansu . It has an area of ​​6,439 square kilometers and has a population of around 580,000 (2004). Its main town is the Huishi (会师 镇) community.

The site of the meeting troops of the Red Army in Huining (Huining Hongjun Huishi Jiuzhi会宁红军会师旧址) and the Neolithic to Bronze Age Niumendong -Stätte (Niumendong Yizhi牛门洞遗址) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .

Administrative structure

At the community level, the district is made up of five large communities and twenty-three communities (one of which is a nationality community of the Hui ).
