Petra Mayer (* 1990 ) is an Austrian folk musician from Carinthia .

In 2014 she took part in the casting show The Big Chance and finished second there. In the same year she released several EPs and at the end of the year her album Schean is des Leben . It entered the top 10 of the Austrian charts . At the Amadeus Awards 2015 she was nominated in the category Artist of the Year .
