The Gw PfalzB 65 was a two-axle, boxcar without a braking device.

Constructive features

Underframe

The frame: is made entirely of profile iron. The outer side members were U-shaped, with the open side facing outwards.

Drawbar: screw couplings , the drawbar was continuous and sprung in the middle.

Bumpers: The cars had rod buffers .

Drive: Truss axle holder, flat iron, short straight design. Slide axle bearings and wheel sets with spoked wheel bodies.

Car body

Shell: frame of the car body made of U- and L-profiles made of wood, visibly attached on the outside, flat arched roof, steps on one end.

Interior: in the area up to approx. 1.20 m horizontal planking up to 40 mm thick, in the upper area simple planking.
