The Gw PfalzB 65, according to (sample) sheet 092 of the PfalzB (ahnen) was a two-axle, boxcar (type "G") with less than 7 m loading length (secondary type "w"). In contrast to the Gw PfalzB 65 according to sheet 090, it had a brakeman's cab.

Constructive features

Underframe

Frame: made entirely of profile iron. The outer longitudinal beams were U-shaped, the open side was facing outwards.

Drawbar: screw couplings , the drawbar was continuous and sprung in the middle.

Bumpers: The cars had rod buffers .

Running gear: truss axle holder, flat iron, short straight design, sliding axle bearings and wheel sets with spoked wheel bodies.

Car body

Shell: iron frame of the car body made of U- and L-profiles, visibly attached on the outside, flat arched roof, raised brakeman's cab with flat roof, accessible from both sides.

Loading device: wooden sliding doors on both sides standing on rollers and guided through head bars

Interior: in the area up to approx. 1.20 m horizontal planking up to 40 mm thick, in the upper area simple planking.

Ventilation: two grilled ventilation openings on each side of the car, can be closed with flaps from the inside.
