The rectory

The former rectory Miel is located in the Miel district of the North Rhine-Westphalian community of Swisttal in the Voreifel . The building has been a listed building since May 31, 1991 . It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Swisttal under No. 12 and is now privately owned.

The building was constructed between 1831 and 1834 as a primary school and rectory for Miel. The building was separated in the middle, with the former elementary school housed in the southern part and the rectory in the northern part. It was then owned by the Archdiocese of Cologne and was used as a rectory for the parish of St. Georg until 2009. Behind the building is the former school yard or parish garden.
