Parish church Blumau-Neurißhof
The Roman Catholic parish church Blumau-Neurißhof is located in the municipality of Blumau-Neurißhof in Lower Austria . The parish church of St. Josef belongs to the dean's office in Baden in the Archdiocese of Vienna . The church is a listed building .
history
The previous church of St. Barbara as a former school building built in 1897 at Hauptallee 10 and 12 was elevated to a parish church in 1939. The former sales point for wartime consumption on Anton-Rauch-Platz was built in 1917, but remained unfinished. In 1935 the building was converted into a branch church with a roof turret according to the plans of the architect K. Eder.
architecture
The building in a mixed style of industrial architecture and home style has three-part segmental arched windows and high hipped roofs with profiled roof houses and dormers. Inside the church there is a three-wing gallery made of reinforced concrete columns.
