The dean's office in Baden is a dean's office in the Vicariate Unter dem Wienerwald of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna .

Deanery Baden

The deanery comprises 17 parishes.

Diocesan development process

On November 29, 2015, development areas were defined for all parishes in the Archdiocese of Vienna. The parishes should work more closely together in the development areas, form parish associations or pastoral care rooms. At the end of the process, new parishes should emerge from the development areas. The following development areas have been defined in the Baden Dean's Office:

  • Baden-St. Christoph, Baden-St. Josef, Baden-St. Stephan and Sooss
  • Bad Vöslau and Gainfarn
  • Möllersdorf, Oberwaltersdorf, Oeynhausen, Pfaffstätten, Traiskirchen and Tribuswinkel
    • Subunit 1: Möllersdorf, Oeynhausen, Pfaffstätten, Traiskirchen and Tribuswinkel
    • Subunit 2: Obwerwaltersdorf
  • Blumau-Neurißhof, Günselsdorf, Kottingbrunn, Schönau an der Triesting and Tattendorf
    • Subunit 1: Blumau-Neurißhof and Günselsdorf
    • Subunit 2: Kottingbrunn and Schönau an der Triesting
    • Subunit 3: Tattendorf

The parishes of Trumau and Pfaffstätten became part of the Deanery of Heiligenkreuz on September 1, 2016 . On October 1, 2018, the Pfaffstätten parish again became part of the Baden deanery.
