Deanery Heiligenkreuz

The deanery comprises eight parishes.

Diocesan development process

On November 29, 2015, development areas were defined for all parishes in the Archdiocese of Vienna. The parishes should work more closely together in the development areas, form parish associations or pastoral care rooms. At the end of the process, new parishes should emerge from the development areas. The Deanery Heiligenkreuz forms a development area.

The parishes of Trumau and Pfaffstätten, previously the dean's office in Baden , became part of the dean's office in Heiligenkreuz on September 1, 2016 . On October 1, 2018, the Pfaffstätten parish again became part of the Baden deanery.
