history

On June 1, 1966, the parish vicariate of the Holy Family was founded in Kufstein-Endach. In 1970 the Leitner fields could be acquired for the construction of a pastoral care center. From December 21, 1975 (patronage: Sunday before Christmas) the services were held at the Horejs family in Prof.-Prenn-Straße 11. The ground-breaking ceremony for the church took place on July 23, 1979. Construction began with the laying of the foundation stone, and on November 30, 1980 the first service was celebrated in the parish center. In October 1981 the altar and the tabernacle were consecrated by Archbishop Karl Berg.

The planned bell tower was not built.

Furnishing

The altar design was created by the Höck Wolfgang - Franziska - Michaela family in collaboration with the Ehrenstrasser glazier in Kirchbichl. The technique that was used is a very special one. Glass splinters of various sizes and colors are placed on a glass, then a second glass plate is placed on top and the whole is heated for 24 hours. Only then will the final result be visible. The device for hanging the elements was made by the company Freisinger.

The figure of a white Madonna was created by the sculptor Hans Osterfeld (1921–1999). OSR Hans Henzinger created the Way of the Cross.

A bell from the hospital church, cast by Josef Georg Miller in 1839, was transferred here and placed in the foyer.
