Parish Church of St. Andreas in Thuringian Mountain

The Roman Catholic Parish Church of St.. Andrew is in the town of Thüringerberg in the district of Bludenz in Vorarlberg . It was built from 1782 to 1783 and was not consecrated until 1790 . The church was expanded in 1894 due to insufficient space and extended and modernized again in 1959/1960. The last renovation took place in 1989/1990.

In 1786 Thüringerberg got its own pastor and in 1835 the church was elevated to a parish church after the curate was elevated to an independent parish .

Facility

The church received three new altars in 1864, which were replaced by a popular altar in 1960. The current altar has been in the church since 1990.

The first organ was installed in 1805, and a new one was purchased in 1860. Another organ was financed in 1994 by six organ sponsors.
