The Roman Catholic parish church of Wels-Pernau is located in the Pernau district in the municipality of Wels in Upper Austria . The church consecrated to St. Joseph belongs to the deanery Wels-Stadt in the diocese of Linz . The church is a listed building .

history

The parish complex was planned in 1960 by the architects Franz Riepl from Munich and Othmar Sackmauer from Linz. In 1965 the foundation stone was laid and construction work began. The church was consecrated on October 8, 1967. In 2004 the rectory was redesigned and in 2006 an extension was added.
