Franz Riepl (architect)

Franz Riepl (born September 1, 1932 in Sarleinsbach ) is an Austrian architect .

Life

Riepl studied architecture at the Technical University of Vienna . From 1958 to 1962 he was Johannes Ludwig's assistant at the Technical University in Munich , and then from 1963 to 1967 he was Ludwig's employee and partner in Munich . In 1967 he founded his own architecture office in Munich.

Teaching

For two decades, from 1980 to 2000, he taught as a university professor at the Institute for Agricultural Construction and Rural Settlement at the Graz University of Technology .

Buildings and competitions

Riepl realized church centers, sports facilities, residential complexes, schools, community centers and veterinary facilities. The focus of his construction activity was in Upper Austria .

The parish church of Wels-Pernau in Wels is entered in the list of listed objects in Wels-Pernau . The Pedagogical Academy of the Diocese in Linz is entered in the list of listed objects in Linz-Waldegg .
