Aglaée Degros

Aglaée Degros (born August 22, 1972 in Leuven ) is a Belgian architect and urban planner. She is a professor for urban planning at the Graz University of Technology .

Life

Degros studied at the Sint-Lukas Brussels campus of the LUCA School of Arts . Together with Stefan Bendiks, she founded the study and design office Artgineering in 2001 . She was also a visiting professor at the TU Delft and the Amsterdam School of Art, the Interdisciplinary Center for Urban Culture and Public Space (SKuOR) of the University of Vienna and the Free University of Brussels. She is also a member of the Image Quality Committee in Nijmegen and was a committee member of the Netherlands Architecture Fund. In 2013/14 she held the Roland Rainer Endowed Professorship at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna . Since 2016 she has been professor and head of the chair for urban planning at the Graz University of Technology.

In 2015 she worked on the cinema documentary ArchiBelge .
