Daniele Marques

Daniele Marques (born December 2, 1950 in Aarau ) is a Swiss architect .

Life

Marques studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich with Aldo Rossi and Dolf Schnebli, among others . In 1977 he founded his own office in Lucerne . Between 1980 and 1996 he worked with Bruno Zurkirchen as the Marques Zurkirchen architectural office in Lucerne. In 1988 he was appointed to the Association of Swiss Architects. Between 1994 and 1997 Marques was a board member of the BSA . From 1997 to 2000 he was Vice President of the BSA. Between 1997 and 2004 he worked in an architectural community for various projects and buildings with Morger & Degelo . He has been working in partnership with Rainer Schlumpf since 2017. His work was published in 2003 by Gta Verlag .

Drawings and models have been shown in numerous exhibitions and galleries.

  • 1987–1989: Design lecturer at the Central Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, Technology + Architecture, Horw
  • 1993–1994: visiting professor at EPF Lausanne

  • 1997: Lecturer at the Summer Academy of the International Architecture Design Workshop IAAS, Basel
  • 1998–1999: visiting professor at the Ecole d'Architecture, Strasbourg (F)
  • 2000–2005: University professor at the Technical University of Graz (A), head of the Institute for Architecture and Landscape
  • 2006–2016: University professor at the Faculty of Architecture at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, head of the building theory department
  • 2007: Visiting professor at the Bauhaus University Weimar, IAAD - International
