Art and Culture Prize of the City of Lucerne

The Art and Culture Prize of the City of Lucerne is an award given by the City of Lucerne for exceptional work in the field of art and culture. The award, which has been presented annually since 1955, is endowed with CHF 25,000. The city council decides on the award on the basis of the suggestions of the city art prize commission, which is made up of external experts. In addition, recognition prizes worth CHF 10,000 each are awarded.
