Heinz Stalder

Heinz Stalder (born July 1, 1939 in Allenlüften , Canton of Bern ) is a Swiss writer .

Life

Heinz Stalder worked as a building and art fitter in Bern . From 1962 to 1966 he worked in a factory and also attended an evening high school . From 1966 to 1968 he trained at the teaching college in Lucerne , and from 1968 he was a teacher in Biel and Kriens . He later worked as a journalist . In 1985 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . Stalder now lives in Kriens and London .

Heinz Stalder is the author of short stories , reports , poems , plays and radio plays ; he partly also writes in dialect .

Heinz Stalder is a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland .
