The Edizioni Periferia is a Swiss publisher of art books, from the gallery Galleria Periferia emerged.

history

The Galleria Periferia was founded in 1986 by the couple Gianni and Flurina Paravicini-Tönz in Poschiavo . After moving to Lucerne , the exhibition activity was supplemented in 1992 by the establishment of the Edizioni Periferia publishing house. The exhibitions took place in Poschiavo until 2000, then in Lucerne; however, in the course of time the publisher moved more and more to the fore.

In 2007, the married couple Gianni and Flurina Paravicini-Tönz were awarded the recognition prize of the Art and Culture Prize of the City of Lucerne for their publishing work.
