The Roman Catholic parish church Zipf is located in the village of Zipf in the municipality of Vöcklamarkt in the Vöcklabruck district in Upper Austria . The vicarage is already in Neukirchen an der Vöckla . It is consecrated to St. Joseph and belongs to the Frankenmarkt dean's office in the Linz diocese .

history

The church was built between 1953 and 1955 according to plans by the native Zipfer Otto Nobis and consecrated in 1955.

The church is a sober building with a gable roof .

Church interior

The church is a large, rectangular hall with an adjoining rectangular and recessed choir with a straight end. The church is 30 m long and 13 m wide. The chorus is elevated. There is a flat ceiling over the choir and nave. The church tower is 26 m high.

Furnishing

A large wooden crucifix hangs above the chancel . It was made around 1740 and was transferred here from the Filialkirche Oberthalheim and restored in 1955. The relief on the pulpit and the figures of Saints Mary and Joseph are works by the sculptor Adolf Treberer-Treberspurg . The tabernacle relief is a driving work by Hanns Angerbauer from 1955.
