coat of arms
Blazon : Divided by red and gold in a wavy cut; on top a silver horseshoe, covered by diagonally crossed, golden bowls and malt shovel; below a raised, blue wave bar, in it a silver trout; black, irregular waves in the base of the shield. The community colors are red and yellow.
The symbolic coat of arms was awarded in 1978. The beer scoop and the malt scoop as the old guild symbols of the brewers refer to the Zipf brewery as the most important branch of industry in the community. The horseshoe is a reminder of the Leonhardiritt held every November in honor of the parish priest . The trout stands for the first trout farm established in Austria-Hungary in 1863 in the Redl district. The golden wave bar symbolizes the Vöckla and the black waves in the base of the shield refer to the first successful deep well for oil in Upper Austria in the Unterthumberg district in 1956.
