The Roman Catholic parish church of Neukirchen an der Vöckla is located in the municipality of Neukirchen an der Vöckla in the Vöcklabruck district in Upper Austria . It is consecrated to St. Leonhard and belongs to the Frankenmarkt dean's office in the Linz diocese . The building is a listed building .

history

The church is first mentioned in a document in the 13th century. The originally late Gothic church was converted to Baroque style after a fire in 1766 .

The west tower has an onion helmet . A vestibule is built in front of the late Gothic south portal.

Church interior

The church was originally a late Gothic two-aisled hall church , which was converted to Baroque style in 1766. The retracted choir is single-yoke and barrel-vaulted with a stab cap . It closes in a five-eighth close . The nave was converted into a single-nave church in 1933.

Furnishing

The high altar was built in the third quarter of the 18th century. The altarpieces are by Friedrich Wutschl from 1884. The side altars were built in 1720. The pulpit is from 1800. The statues of the Man of Sorrows and Our Lady of Sorrows were created after 1750. A lecture cross is from the second quarter of the 18th century.

Bell jar

A bell was cast in 1769.
