coat of arms
Blazon :
- “ Degraded shared with sea wave cut ; growing up in gold from the parting line a green, in the form of a bent-in, tip fallen outwardly inclined sea grass , about a red with a silver, heraldic lily occupied disc ; below in blue three silver wavy threads , whereby the topmost meets the dividing line. "
The community colors are green-yellow.
The coat of arms was awarded in 1985 and, with the blue waves and the reeds, refers to the location of the place on the Irrsee, which is entirely part of the municipality. The lily was taken from the coat of arms of the Mondsee abbot Cölestin Kolb, who had the former branch church (today's parish church) renovated in 1672, and which is also located above the portal of the church. At the same time, the lily stands as a symbol of Mary for the patronage of the Assumption .
