Mondseeland

As Mondseeland the area is between and around Irrsee and Mondsee referred. The main town of the Mondsee region is the Mondsee market - the Mondsee region is the old property of the former Benedictine monastery Mondsee and is characterized by its own history. The Mondsee Beautification and Sociability Association was founded as early as 1874 . In 1926/27, after the collapse of tourism after the World War and the Great Depression , a new tourism association for the Attersee and Mondsee area took place . In 1995/96 the association for regional development Mondseeland was founded, in 2004 the multi-municipality tourism association , the tourism region MondSeeLand, Mondsee-Irrsee was established .
