Nursing mission statement

A nursing mission statement defines the basic idea and nursing philosophy of nursing within a company. This is aimed at employees, patients (or residents / customers) and outsiders. The mission statement describes the values, the basic ethical attitude and attitudes according to which professional care should act. This should help to put the different approaches of the individual caregivers on a common basis for caring activities. Often reference is made to the nursing model or theory on which nursing is based . The mission statement thus documents the corporate culture .
