A phantom head is a replica of a human head that is used for training and teaching purposes. It is mainly used for training in the study of dentistry . A human oral cavity with teeth is reproduced on the phantom head. During the pre-clinical lessons in the “phantom course”, also known as the pre-clinical propaedeutic course, “phantom work” (practice work without patients) is carried out. At the phantom head to preserving or prosthetic dental treatment practiced or demonstrated.
