The Pharmig - Association of the Austrian Pharmaceutical Industry is a lobbying organization for the pharmaceutical industry in Austria founded and was the 1954th Pharmig is based in Vienna.

The association has around 120 member companies with around 18,000 employees, who cover a good 95 percent of the Austrian pharmaceutical market.

According to its own information, the association provides impetus for quality and security of supply in the health system and is committed to strengthening Austria as a pharmaceutical and research location and calls for fair, reliable and predictable framework conditions for the pharmaceutical industry in Austria.

All functionaries work on a voluntary basis. President (term of office 2019 to 2022) is Philipp von Lattorff. The highest decision-making body is the executive board, which is elected for a term of office of three years; at the top are the president and up to three vice-presidents (current vice-presidents are Astrid Müller, Robin Rumler and Bernhard Wittmann).

Operational management is the responsibility of the Secretary General, who has been Alexander Herzog since 2018. The association sees itself as a central, competition-neutral service facility for its member companies and covers all topics relevant to the Austrian pharmaceutical industry:
