Philip G. Kreyenbroek

Philip Gerrit Kreyenbroek (born November 12, 1948 ) is a Dutch Iranist .

Life

From 1966 to 1970 he obtained a BA in Arabic, Persian, Turkish at the University of Amsterdam and from 1970 to 1972 the MA in Persian, Ancient Iranian Studies, and History of Religion at the University of Utrecht . From 1996 to 2017 he was Professor of Iranian Studies at the Georg-August University in Göttingen .
