Philip Lavery
Philip Lavery (born August 17, 1990 in Dublin ) is an Irish track and road cyclist .
Philip Lavery won the Rás at Turcaí Galway in 2008. The next year he was able to repeat his victory there and he was third in the road race of the U23 class at the Irish championship. In the 2010 season he won two stages in the Irish Sea Tour of the North and was able to win the overall standings. He also won a stage in the Tour of Ulster and at the Commonwealth Games he won the bronze medal in the team pursuit on the track with the Northern Irish team. At the end of the 2010 season he drove for the Irish Continental Team An Post-Sean Kelly as a stagiaire , where he was recommended for a professional contract from 2011.
