Philippe Berthet

Philippe Berthet (born September 22, 1956 in Thorigny-sur-Marne ) is a French comic artist .

After studying at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels , he drew his first comics for the fanzines Aïe and Spatial . In 1980 his first album-long story, Couleur Café, appeared in the comic magazine Spirou . Shortly thereafter, he created the science fiction series Le marchand d'idées (German: The ideas dealer ) with copywriter Antonio Cossu . In 1983 the three-part crime thriller Le Privé d'Hollywood (Eng: The Detective of Hollywood ) and other single albums followed, which were published in Germany as the “Berthet” series. From the mid-1990s, the erotic / adventure series Pin-up followed together with the scenarioist Yann .
