Philoxenus (sculptor)
Philoxenos ( ancient Greek Φιλόξενος ) was a Greek sculptor from Athens who worked in Rome during the Augustan period (30 BC to 14 AD) .
It is only known from an inscription on a marble statue fragment found in the gardens of Palazzo Barberini . It is unclear whether the statue is an original or a copy of an older work.
