Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Coordinates: 40 ° 26 ′ 20.2 ″ N , 79 ° 56 ′ 51.7 ″ W Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is a botanical garden in Schenley Park, Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania , founded in 1893 by Henry Phipps, Jr. (1839– 1930) was founded.
In October 2003 the Phipps Conservatory was expanded. In a first phase, a "Welcome Center" was added in 2005. A tropical house was added in 2006.
